I‘m not quite sure but wouldn’t that mean, that prices for those products would be raised?
Also, even if a company has a plant in the US, wouldn’t be the products produced there still be more expensive because production costs (like wages) are higher in the US then in china/taiwan etc.?
To be competitive they would need to lower those production costs.
